On Monday, April 15th Marc Fucarile (pictured above on the right), like so many others in New England, celebrated Patriots’ Day by cheering on the amazing people that are Boston Marathoners. However, the local holiday and world-famous sports event ended tragically for Marc and his friends.
After the explosions at the finish line, he is now in the Intensive Care Unit at Mass General. His right leg has been amputated above the knee and he has first, second and third-degree burns on over half of his body. His left leg suffers from two fractures and shrapnel litters most of his body.
Marc’s entire family remains optimistic and has not left his side. He is so loved by and important to his friends and family, especially his 5-year-old son, Gavin. We are rallying to support Marc, and any help you can provide - kind words, a prayer, or a donation of any amount - is gratefully accepted by his family.
